Unsurprisingly, the qualifying session was dominated by Nightmare`s Rene Smit and Grant Reeve. These bonus points could make all the difference in Smit`s battle for the championship with Oliver Roberts.

Smit also won the the race, his second victory in a row, by just 8 seconds from Roberts, although he did lose around 20 seconds on the 65th lap when he was stuck on the grass between two computer cars. Roberts admitted to making too many mistakes in his race, which almost certainly cost him the race. Third place Robert Schaftlein also reported much inconsistency.Congratulations are in order for Robert Romanowski who achieved his first points finish of the season by taking 4th place.

Only a few competitors submitted their fastest lap times, but of those available, Roberts drove the fastest.

Sunny Coupe`s Peter Daas was the first retirement of the race, crashing out after 8 laps. He was closely followed by the previous race`s runner-up - Patrick Giesbergen - two laps later. Of the 20 starters, 13 managed to complete the 72 laps

As a result of his win, Smit has extended his lead at the top of the championship table to 8 points. The pressure is beginning to build on Roberts to keep in touch.
